Slurry pumps are widely used in solid control system, and same with other pumps, its wear resistance but sometimes also damage the bearings in some conditions. Bellow are four reasons for your reference:
1. Slurry pump shaft and motor shaft are asymmetric or not parallel. Should be adjusted to the motor shaft or By the shaft, if the shaft deformation or bending directly replace the shaft.
2. Wrong bearing assembly. Reassembly the slurry pump bearing and shaft, or change the bearings.
3. Slurry pump inner friction or balance problem within slurry pump impeller. Friction should be eliminated or replaced the impeller.
4. Poor lubrication. Too little or excessive impurities will shorten slurry pump bearing life, you should reassembly the bearing after clearance work done.
